INTODUCTIONS

Public Vocational High School 1 Pogalan Trenggalek Jawa Timur Indonesia was found 1975 named : Preparation Economic High School Then it belonged to the government in 1977 with a name Public Economic High School Trenggalek with three departments, those name : Book Keeping, Business Keeping and Office In the next development, the name SMEA was changed by the government into Vocational High School which was shortened and well-known as SMK In consequence of the change Vocational High School has freely been able to open and or add departments according to the demand of labor world . Since SMEA became SMK, Public Vocational High School I Pogalan did the reengineering and opened new departments, those are : Dress Making Department and Restaurant Department in the school year 2002/2003 and Multimedia Department in the school year 2006/2007, so now there are six departments belong to Public Vocational High School 1 Pogalan Trenggalek Besides, in a line with the progress and government’s program, SMK N 1 Pogalan in 2007 could gain International Organization for Standardization (ISO) certificate 9001 : 2000 and also to be appointed as one of Vocational High Schools (SMK) with International for leveling

3. Doing the training of English with TOEIC Standard and other foreign languages

5. Preparing students to be entrepreneurs and professional labors
